PRO bikes are the envy of every rider, with their no-expense-spared customization and attention to detail. This Trek Madone is more than just a rolling showcase; it is the ultimate Paris-Roubaix Challenge machine, built to crush cobbles and highlight the features of the new PRO Stealth 3D Saddle.
Designed to prioritize comfort for high-performance riders, the PRO Stealth 3D Saddle was created in collaboration with pressure-mapping data. This information was gathered from thousands of bike fittings and was used to define the locations of each of the three mesh zones, specifying where high, lower, and low-density vibration-dampening 3D Printed EPU padding is required. Not only did this data help the PRO Product development team produce PRO’s most comfortable saddle yet, but it also inspired the paintwork for a custom Trek Madone.
Featuring swirls that appear like the contour lines of a topographic map, the pressure mapping data produces an eye-catching paint job on the striking contours of the Madone. The broader, aerofoiled tubes and the IsoFlow seat tube provide ample area for the pressure mapping contours to tell their story, inspiring cyclists to take a closer look. In doing so, they will note the aesthetics of the PRO Stealth 3D Saddle too. Each of the three mesh zones is visually distinct and signals the density of padding provided.
Fittingly for one of the most aerodynamically advanced bicycles in the PRO peloton, this Madone is equipped with PRO’s integrated and aerodynamic cockpit, the PRO Vibe EVO. The one-piece system is designed to enable riders to maintain an aerodynamic, pursuit-style position on the bike. To further enhance the bike’s ability to slice through the wind, the Shimano DURA-ACE hydraulic brake hoses are routed internally through the handlebars and into the frame via another 3D printed component. A specific PRO Vibe EVO Headset Cover is available for 12 individual bicycle models, including the Trek Madone, to provide a seamless interface between the headtube and handlebar.
Completing the PRO components on the custom Trek Madone is the new PRO Pursuit Performance Handlebar Tape. Boasting an eye-catching pearl color the bar tape offers superior grip and shock absorption properties, which further empower the bike’s lucky rider to conquer the cobbles. The build also features Shimano’s exceptional DURA-ACE R9200 groupset and a pair of lightning-fast Shimano DURA-ACE C60 wheels. 32-millimeter-wide tires aid in the comfort and make this PRO Stealth 3D-inspired Madone ready for the Paris-Roubaix Challenge.
